Tankmates for a fin nipper??

I have a fuelleborni OB cichlid, hes extremely aggressive, tried pairing with angel fish and other tetras, he destroyed their fins. I ended up getting him his own 29gal. I want to see him with a friend though, any recommendations? Nothing much bigger then him(4") as the tank is only a 29

Try armored catfish or spiny plecos.

Most mbuna can only be housed with other mbuna. Some bristlnose or syndontis would probably be fine depending on size. Mbuna are extremely territorial. I had a 3" mbuna push my 10" haps into the corner of the tank.
