Tankmates for a RTGG and silver Aro...

I have a 4x2x2 tank that currently houses a 6" RTGG and a roughly 12" silver aro.

*I realize this tank is not large enough for them both at full size, plan on getting a 6x2 tank or larger in the future*

With that in mind, what are some possible tankmates for this duo? They get along very well currently. They both have a diet of meal worms and Hikari food sticks.

I'D go catfish but once you've upgraded , the type of cat depends on your new tank size if big enough irwini , Niger , giraffe etc
Perhaps a few silver dollars or large barbs

Peacock Bass. Although the aro's might have a hard time competing for food.

Hmm thanks for the suggestions. Catfish and silver dollars sound good but I'd have a hard time finding them large enough to not get beat up by the RTGG (he beats up on anything less than half his size). Funny thing though, he's beat up everything from barbs to a green terror, but he never messed with a small butterkofi that used to be in the tank! Butterkofis are mean as hell.

Peacock bass from what I've seen are far too timid for me. I've always seen them just stay still in one place in the tank.
