I have 2 kingsleyaes in a 55 gallon tank with a featherfin synodontis catfish. I'm going to upgrade to a 75 when I get the $$$, and one of the kings may move out in the future. Any suggestions for one or two tankmates? I already have other ctenopomes in another tank.

wow great find did you order it if not what LFS has them ?

I would keep them with spiny eels, polypterus, catfish and certain cichlids

only thing is they can be pretty aggressive and have no problem holding there own with tuff fish as these guys are pretty tuff them selfs

currently i have mine in with a female concist, a baby severum, but i had him in with an african butterfly fish and 2 senegals.. i think pretty much anything that wont beat on them or be small enough to be food. anything from larger tetras to medium cichlids should work..

depending on the size some buffaloheads might be interesting, since they can hold their own against larger fish

My LFS has them. How much are they worth?
Not worth a hole lot but they are getting harder and harder to find it seems like for a good looking one around 3''-4'' i'd say its worth $30-$40 or so could be more or less depending on where you live
