pleco's would be the only possible fish cohab i could see working for a good amount of time with Dovii. anything else would be bets off. (execpt possible Large parachromis co-hab. i have seen dovii (small) kept with other large parachromis. This requires a big tank for adult dovii. 8-10'+ long (and even then it probably wouldn't work with a dominate adult Male.
agreed with the above, nothing can stand up to the attack of a full grown dominant male dovii period as far as cichlids go, if you like the dovi , then go for grammodes and youl have much better time with a cohab
What size tank? A friend had a 12" male dovii in a 125gal and was using 3-4" barred midas growouts as dithers You can have tankmates with them, but you have to realize they will be disposable
the only thing that survived more then a night with them is my old TSN and thats probably because it was more then double their size. My female still beat the crap out of it though.
