tankmates for ghost knife and bichir

I have a 150 gallon and have 1 black ghost knife and 2 Senegal bichir. This tank looks really empty since the aren't the most active during the day. Can any one tell me wat fish to get with them

PS. I can grow them out first so starting size isn't a problem.

Would I be able to put angelfish in there or would the bichir eat there fins to much

if your senegal and angel size are similar,it should be okay.but,beware.but are known for sometimes mutilate other fish that are smaller than them.if your senegal are quite big now,i say just add pleco or armored catfish species.they do fine with ghost knife and senegal too.my 22 cm senegal never bother my 6cm bristlenose.

I totally forgot about about silver dollars.. thanks for the idea. and I think I am going to try 5 angels, 1 BGK and 2 Senegal bichirs because most fourums say its ok as long as ur bichir isn't the one who just likes to deathroll ish for fun :O

infinite possibilities really you can mix them with south american cichlids, larger characins, datnoides (stunning type of perch and very), (with a max size larger then the bichirs) as nono said catfish are good tank mates as well, I've kept with eels but with mixed results. goodluck with the polypterus

I got a gar , Oscar , sun catfish , and a fire eel with my bichirs, and they get along great
Except some random fight between the Oscar and the big bichir
