Hullo there.
Im Badger an Im new to the forum.
I purchased a Marbled sleeper goby a few months ago before I left for the US. Im back and hes bigger, lol. Im wondering if Im able to put a couple of tankmates in as hes been in his 48" himself for bout 6 months now an wasnt sure if he would take to others. He was in with catfish and others in the lfs. Hes only bout 6in at the moment so I thought anythin that wouldnt fit in his mouth might be ok but Ive also heard that some peoples sleepers have killed other fish that have been introduced.
Anyone else keep them with other fish or is he best on his own?
PS. I have a young Channa pulchra and he has had to be put into a smaller tank as the one he was in sprung a leak. I dont think he is happy there as he is skittish and not eating properly, he used to come out and wait for you to feed him but now he just hides. Im hopin that when I put him back into a 30" tank, he'll be back to normal. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get him to feed? Ive been using crickets, waxworm, worms an he wont take, he used to munch them no problem. In the spring he gets tadpoles but none out now.
Thanks for any help.
