tankmates for my jag

i have a jag whos about 9 inches (gonna try to put a ruler up to him today) and a red tiger mota in my 100 gallon. i was wondering if i could add some "target fish" or somthing nice in there livin it up (tiger barbes etc) or maybe even a ray?
in a year or 2 i hope to get a large community tank going, you guys are awesome here thanks for any advice

you could go with target fish if you don't care about them dying

Convicts or sometimes even jewel cichlids are tough as nails! I have 2 convicts in with my 8in female jag just to dull down aggression and help distract her from picking on my other fish.
