i have an albino mystus cat i kept with tigerbarbs, rainbowfish, skunk loach , bronze cory. he was very small about 2 inches then and got along well. now i am missing some tiger barbs and i think hes the killer since hes grown about twice his size already. would he be okay in my african cichlid tank? if not i still got two empty tanks i can put him there. any suggestions for tankmates?

i think (not 100% here, i'm sure i'll be corrected) that there's several different kinds of Catfish with the mystus naming, off the top of my head you've got the Asian Red Tailed Catfish and the Mystus Wickii both of which grow to 2' in length and are some of the most aggresive fish you can get. if it's one of those then it's definatly been eating your tiger barbs, he'll wipe out your african tank as he grows and is really bet kept in a tnk all on his own.

Unless you mean mystus leucophasis.I have 3 in my tank with haps and peacocks.No trouble there.Another lives with my oscar.
Id assume mystus leucophasis, much easier to come by then a wickii or asian red tailed.
