Thinking about middle fish...we have 1x15" LNG, 2x5" FLG, 1x12" CKF, 1x8" p.weeksii, 1x6" p.ornate, 1x5" p.endli, 1x6" blood parrot, 1x4" sun cat, 1x14" rope fish, 3xBig ACF's. Everything gets along great ATM. The blood parrot has proven to be a good middle fish. I was wondering about discus and sevrums in particular. Does anybody have these as middle fish? Do they get aggressive / territorial? If it's not a possibility i could alway get more large blood parrots i guess...

I have a severum in my tank which is the closest you can get to discus. You cannot get a discus in your tank, I think. They need optimal water quality and are very delicate.

Tank seems crowded enough as it is.. And once your weeksii or ornatus reach 12" you can say goodbye to your ropefish.

How big is the tank? That would make a difference..

Wide Bar Silver dollars work amazing for predators. You might have to grow them out in a separate tank first.
*fair warning, after these guy grow out; they will eat everything before it hits the floor.... Well I have 20 so nothing hits the floor unless I toss in a uber grip of food(like a large Pho bowl size of shrimp).

Should have mentioned that the 2 FLG are in grow out. The 3 frogs will be moved when the polys get big enough as well.

Leaning towards severums...researching the suggested silver dollars now. What about the less expensive dats? Like indo or the silver american dats?
