what are some tankmates for freshwater rays?

People keep all kinds of fish with them. I have found dats, gars, and red bay snooks to be a nice mix. My brother has discus with his one hystrix.

Make sure tankmates are a lot bigger. My rays ate every single one of my small peacock bass and a few 6-8" African Arowanas I threw in there.
