I would like to setup a large tank 75+g for my ornate and senegal bichirs, and would love to add more fish to it, however I don't want anymore long bottom dweller fish such as ropefish or gars or eels, are there any other types of fish that I could put in with these guys?

You`re potentially in for trouble with a senegal/ornate mix in a tank that size. Ornates seem to like eating sens.

U should get a bigger tank first. The ornate is gonna grow massive (around 2 feet). A 120 gal would be good. if you don't want ur future monster to attack ur new tank mates, get a bigger tank. More bichirs would be good tankmates.
I plan on upgrading to a bigger tank as I need it though, right now my senegal is only 4 inches or so, and my ornate is 6 inches, but hes a massive 6 inches so I have them both seperated for now and feeding the senegal more often in a slightly warmer tank so he grows a little faster. I dont want more bichirs because I would like something to add to the tank thatll swim around the top and mid level sections of the water

As long as you never plan to add plants. A school of them would be great in a bichir tank though.
