tankmates for serrasalmus elongtus

Welcome to wonderful world of pirahna keeping. 
Elongatus are actually my favourite pirahna species, though the downfall is they need lots of room and you can't keep anything with them. The result: a very boring tank.

Sexiest of all the Piranha's in my opinion, no tankmates though except those you expect to become feeder's. A truly aggressive little S.O.B. will even try to attack you thru the glass. The only thing you can try and I highly doubt it'll work are neon tetra's. Sometimes and I mean not that often a small enough fish will not be seen as a threat to territory or as a food source. Though I think because of the small size of the adult Elongatus the neon's will still be seen as food. So if your willing a school of them may survive with members having to be replaced every so often because even well fed I bet the Elong will make plays for them.
