I've got a 4.5" fw stonefish/lionfish/toadfish that ive had for a few months now and I'm trying to find some tankmates for him. Currently hes in brackish water with a sg of about .0018-19, eats well, sandy substrate, and he's becoming more and more active. He now would rather chase his pray than ambush it.
At first I was thinking GSP because i had one before and liked it alot but it died because i kept it in fw for too long. But I think the puffer would kill the stonefish.
Then I started thinking gobies.
Then started thinking about going full sw and doing seahorses or something.
But now I'm thinking about staying brackish for awhile and finding some kind of compatible brackish fish.
Any ideas?
