hi friends. i wonder is any of you could give an opinion on which fish to introduce to to my 4 ft tank. currently i have two oscars 8 and 9 inch.

it's 4 ft long, but how wide? It's probably going to be too small for the oscars you have in there now as they'll begin having trouble turning in a couple of months...

i had a pair of oscars in a 3 foot long tank, but it was 2 feet high and 2 feet wide. was the perfect size for breeding and I never had a problem.

thats lots of space, I tend to find that oscars get their asses kicked by aggressive cichlids like Parachromis and Amphilophus sp. but I've also seen people that have made it work. I have also seen aggressive oscars. I kept my pair with a Lima Shovelnose catfish. and the little one eyed oscar im growing out lives with a male Gymnogeophagus Steindachneri and they get on fine although the oscar is pretty aggressive to him.

what is the temprement of your oscars?

the 9 inch tends to be aggressive sometimes. but the 8 inch is just swim around making friends. my friend just gave me two pairs of cichlid n i gt no idea what they are. they are just around 3 inch. heres a picture of them. maybe u guys know it id. im guessing its a gt..
