tankmates oscar?

i just got a 100gal tank and i want to put a oscar(or any other large fishs) in it i want to know whats the best tankmates for a oscar?

generally good tankmates for oscars are other more peaceful South American cichlids, like severums, chocolates, larger acaras and geos. CA species that aren't too aggressive, like H. nicaraguense should be ok too.

I have kept a Green Severum with my Oscars since they were small and it is a great tankmate, very peaceful and keeps to itself, also not a bad looking fish.

better lookin than oscars thats for sure

make sure you got some good filtration for that messy dude

silver sharks and tinfoils are good dither fish,,,my oscars are in with both these kinds and a senegal birchir and plecs,,,,

most south american cichlids will go good with oscars, central americans
are very aggressive towards oscars probably cause their not from the same area.
my texas terror always fights my oscar.
i have 3 centrals and 1 southern american cichlid and the oscar gets along with my
barred midas and jack dempsey just not the texter.

Personally i like Tinfoil Barbs, Bala Sharks, Jack Dempseys, Convicts (just one though), Severums, P.Loisellei, Silver Sharks, .... just to name a few as good tankmates.
