As of right now I have 3 3-4" barred midas in a 75 with what is now a breeding pair of motas, which are only 2.5"-3" themselves. I was wondering what would be the minimum size tank I will need in the future to have inhabitants with my motas, such asone of the midas and maybe some other large specimens. I plan on upgrading next semester once I'm living in a house. Thanks.

125+

With the stock you have now a 125 will be the minimum. If you decide to get another monster or 2 at least a 180

I was figuring around a 180, I'm trying to get a used 210 currently that's 7x2x2, not sure if that will go through or not though. What else would I be able to keep in the tank? I was thinking of picking up a larger catfish like a tsn but am unsure of how that will work, I would save a larger oscar from one of the lfs here since they keep 12"+ fish in 30 gallon tanks. Oh well hopefully I can grab that 210 and sump.
