I have a 55 gallon fish tank with a c-360 marine land canister and I was wondering if a 4 line pim catfish can go with a electic blue Jack Dempsey and a red tail barracuda? Can I add anymore tankmates? I will be upgrading to a 100 gallons soon.

As long as it is big enough to not be considered food you should be good. Thing is all of these fish will need more room down the road.

Should be good lifelong.

IDK much about the cuda but IIRC they don't break ~1'? If so, the combo could work in a 55 and then 100 gal. JD may harass its tank mates, so the pim would need a chance to hide just in case.

I missed the part where you are going to a 100 gallon. Had`nt had enough coffee at the time.

So do you have the cuda or not? A cuda and a large, aggressive cichlid like an Oscar isn't a very good combo.

As long as the pim and the ABK can have access to hiding, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't work, though oscars can tend to be *******s sometimes.

alright thanks for the advice, I do plan on buying alot of caves and is Acestrorhynchus Isalinae Ok or red tail barracuda?

I am utterly convinced that any of the silver tooth fishes (to include aces) would be terrible to put with a much faster growing and aggressive cichlid.
