Ime the two cichlids with your butti will end up dead. Only fish i can keep with my butti are fast small fish. Anything even a third of the size of the butti gets killed. With lots of rock work and hides, you can get away with the smaller fish.

i just noticed you mentioned convicts, they work great as long as you go with all one sex. When they pair up they try to defend against the butti and end up mangled. I had hrp with mine for quite a while without issues. I just kept all the female hrp
In my experience nothing. I had my butti in a community tank until she hit 5 inches and started beating on every fish in my tank. Unless u have a HUGE tank (600g+) you’ll get problems.
