hi, i'm a newbie here, and still pretty new to everything besides oscars. I keep one in a 55 moving to a 75 soon as its up and cycled, and i recently got an electric blue jd (1.5" ish) and a little polypterus palmas (2.5-3") who are growing up in a 45 until I decide what to do with them. I'm looking for some suggestions for other fish I might be able to keep with them given a larger tank, or if i should keep them where they are or something. Also, I'm going to be purchasing a 150 toward the end of the year when i can get it for 30% off (I work as a dog groomer for a petsmart and thats the biggest tank they can order me) and I'm looking for some help with stocking that. I really like managuense and am also interested in texas cichlids, motaguense, pike cichlids and am hoping a 150 might accomodate more than one of these perhaps if i get all females?? Its hard to get good info, most people I talk to insist that both texas and jags will kill anything else that moves including their own but i've also gotten some info that says its circumstantial. I havent met many responsible fish keepers in my area, especially not ones who like big fish. Any input or other suggestions other than what I listed would be really appreciated. Thanks!
