right, i am getting really pissed :swear: off
i'm looking to get a tank about 6 x 3 x 2 1/2, however the biggest i can find is 6x2x2. some might say im not looking hard enough. not the case. i am finding it impossible to get near the specs. i need a reasonably wide footprint because am looking at keeping rays, and can only find 2ft wide tanks, which fra nkly aint enough. am in the uk based around gloucestershire/bristol. are there any english folk or even welsh (around swansea area)that could help me out in anyway?
  :help2: :duh:

damn, i actually had a really bad feeling that would be the response i got, ahwell just clutching at straws, cheers anyway lol

hi davo i live in bridgend I encountered a simmilar problem to you a few years ago so I built my own plyboard tank 8ft*3ft*3ft it was suprisingly easy and looks great

yea i've been brousing the diy section- there is some fantastic information and some great looking DIY tanks by the way MFK, but still a tad worried of it not lasting, im not the greatest of craftsman. maybe ill have ago on a smaller project first.

Ive had mine 3 years now and apart from the algea inside its the same as the day i built it .I used 18mm marine ply just a basic box with 2 veiwing windows in the front and 4 cross braces lined with fibreglass and epoxy resin try a smaller one first you'll be amazed at what you can do
