Had a leaky tank incident with my twenty and traced it back to using the tank for mice in the past.
As I resealed my twenty gal, I found the sealant itself was good as it was difficult to remove. What likely ruined it was nibbling damage from the former inhabitants.

Lessen?...rodent tanks and fish tanks are not inter-changeable.

Or maybe some of you don't care to keep any rodents...Well if you buy a used tank, you may be buying one used to house rodents anyways if the former owner used the tank for that purpose.

my 55 and 75 i got for free because one held a iguana the other held a boa, you could see where chewing had been done and i re-sealed it, they work fine, did i mention they were free?

I used to have several rats, however, once they died i filled the tank up and put fish in it:DRight now there's a baby clown knife in there.
