Thank you. I at least have some of that here, I also have Stability.
I may have overstocked my tank slightly, combined with having to remove 1 filter to add to a hospital tank for an injured fish. I do have a sump filter going too.
I have finally been able to put the internal filter back in but over the last few days, some of the fish have been breathing heavy. None have been gasping at the surface.
I did roughly 30% water change yesterday. Still getting about 0.25 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite and between 0-5.0 Nitrate. So the water parameters are not off the chart, but I cant think of anything else that would cause them to be breathing heavy.
I did a test on the tap water and it was reading 0.25 - 0.50 for ammonia.
4x2x2 tank. 2 foot sump. Plus Cascade 600 internal filter.
I have a lot of fish in there, but they all use the same half of the tank full of drift wood for hiding. Most of the time you would think the tank was empty.
