I have a multiple posts on a couple of paris of breeding tapajos. New issue today. they both are holding eggs and yesterday they were both fin to fin over the nest, today the female dark blotches are the most prominent that I have ever seen (pic) and she is getting aggressive with the male. If he was not holding eggs I would take him out. Since only bumping and shoving and no visible damage I will leave him in the tank for now as I don't want to traumatize him by stripping the eggs. They have bred 3x in a big community tank but this is the first time in their own tank. Any advice would be apprecaited.
