Tapillia polleni growing time

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
depending on feeding, water quality, and things like that, a year seems reasonable to me.

Good space good nutrition (doesnt mean power feeding), it will reach 6-7" quickly. under a year def then it will slow down.

One male(an alpha)will grow quickly if there is a male. The other 2 will grow, but much more slowly. If the alpha male dies, another will have an impressive growth spurt. Be careful to watch the non alphas, they had a very hard time not being killed in my 150 gal.
And by the way, Paratilapia polleni is the proper nomenclature, in the parlance of our time.
