I started looking up info about tarantulas because I'm thinking about getting one and found out that all tarantulas bite but even though some are fatal most tarantula venom is almost equivilent to that of a bee sting.
Now I'm discuraged from getting one because I don't want it biting me

my question is can they get defanged?

Unfortunately, you will not start shooting webs from your wrist...

Rosehairs and Avicularia sp. are not only harmless but they are very docile as well. I would not worry about a bite from them in the least. Some spiders have a bit of an attitude. Do a thread search for OBT to find out what I am talking about. Also, there is not a single spider that had venom that can kill a person without an allergic reaction. No spider is truly deadly and chances are, if you are not allergic to things like bees and wasps then you will be fine.

Also, the average person swallows something like 3 spiders a year so I am sure you have been bit by them before and you are still alive and probably didnt even know you were bit.

they need there fangs to eat and digest there food ,if u de fang them they will die, perhaps if u need a safer pet T's are not for u . I had kept T's for a few years and never had a bit , there more display animals than actual petting pets .

All venoms are allergic reactions. Your reaction might be more or less intense than another persons. It potentially could be fatal, however unlikely.

I had a rosehair...the worst thing it did was "shed" its irritating hairs onto my mom several times which gave her a mild allergic reaction. I used to let him/her sit on my head and watch TV with me or whatever. He sat pretty still so Im pretty sure he enjoyed it. Best bug pet I ever had.

^+1 they all can bite, and all their venom is a reaction. but the species with the least amount of reaction to most humans(keyword most) are:
rose hair
pinktoes(any of them)
brachypelma(red knees, fire legs, etc)
curly hairs
and the brazilian black and the brazilian red.
some to stay away from are:
king baboons
bird eaters
ornamentals
sun tigers
and suprisingly the aphonopelma species( their bites arent bad but their hairs are more severe then average) good luck and dont be discouraged. i am getting a t as soon as i can find a brachypelma boehmei that is a sexed female. i have also held over a dozen t's, of some 5 or 6 species, and never been bit.

Does anyone know were I can get a Chilean rose hair?

And anything in spesific I should know about them
