well,after going through a very agro thread with this guy trying to prove his T would go in deep water on its own,here is a vid of it already in the water.He says it catches fish and can stay down quite a while.Some ppl pick on him because he gets a little forceful trying to show that it will swim but I think he just wants tp prove it so bad and you know when something dosnt act for others when you want it too,lol.After talking to him and seeing all his vids it is plain as day that this spicies does go in the water often and can stay under just fine.Amazing because of their lung structure,always learning something.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE4bki09Z2Y&feature=channel

I want to add that this is not with all tarantulas and most would drown very fast so dont try this if you are not sure of the type you have.
