I've had this tarpon for a little over a month now purchased as an indo but I'm hearing conflicting information on both atlanticus and cyprinoides. Can anyone i.d.?

Position of pelvic fins strongly suggests atlanticus as they are well ahead of the dorsal fin.
you could check anal fin ray count
A = 22-25
C = 22-31
Although this would only confirm Not atlanticus and only if greater than 25.
