tarpon tankmates

Hey guys i'm looking for some tankmates for my indo pacific tarpon and marble achara catfish. I would like something that gets over 8" and smaller than 30". The only fish I don't especially want to go for are birchirs or anything very expensive.Thanks

keep tarpon away from orinos is what i recommend ^^;; cuz thats what i have rite now... not a very good combo

i've seen a pond/tank with various pbass and tarpon. But the tarpon was 1.5-3 times biggger than the Pbass, no tankmates messed with it.

Lates perch are good with them. tems may be safe if tarpon is bigger. tarpons grow just as fast if not faster than tems i believe.

If i could find some barras i would definetly go for it but most of the other perches are out of my price range
