how fast will a red tailed payara grow in fast moving water becuase i have a pretty powerful powerhead and the fish will be 6-7"s when i get it but how fast will it grow with the fast moveing water?

All mine grew about 2" a year up to 7". And then sadly died from my fualt.
My next one was 7" when i got him in october of 2007. And is around 9.5" today.
So just a tad more than a inch a year for me. The first tank they were in for the first 1.5yrs had a 35x turn over rate. And the one he is in now has a 14x turn over. Temp has allways been 82-84 degree's and ph of 7.4.
