For the last 4 days alls my payara will do is kill his food and spit it back out. In the last four days he killed 31 rossy reds and hasn't eaten one yet. Any input would be nice.

Dont know whats going on....I never fed live food. My 9" Tat stopped eating for no apparent reason after 7 months of being a pig. Looked great....lost weight then just faded away....I hope you can get yours eating!
Wow, killed 31 reds and spit back out....hmmm... For a short time, my tat stopped eating. It only eats live but ignored the feeders in his tank.... did not eat for 4 days... I then decided to introduce a variety of feeders, guppies, danios, etc.... the tat ate right away. Guess some tats can be finicky eaters......maybe got tired of just eating the same type of fish.... try adding different species of quality feeders.... I have found that my tat will also ignore certain feeders that are "too big". Best of luck.
