My tat is eating great, but unfortunately I cannot get him to eat dead feeders.
When I weaned my belonesox onto frozen I upped the current and dumped freshly dead feeders in the current and he would eat them. And then eventually he did this to frozen too.
My tat is in a whitewater tank and dead feeders never float or sink, they just go around in the tank's current. He doesn't really hesitate to try to snatch a dead feeder, but he spits it out right away. He inhales live, but for some reason he can taste that the fish is dead.
I eventually want to get him on nonlive foods as well as live. I never intend to stop feeding him live, I just want to be able to feed him nonlive foods in the future as well.
Does anybody have any ideas on why he is spitting these out and tips on how to get him to eat dead fish?

could that be my problem? Ive been feeding him quarantined feeder goldfish. Should I start feeding him rosies?
