Well, today on one of my forays into the lfs's I came acrossed one of the sickest things I've seen. I don't mind tattooing my own body and all.. And yes it hurts.. but tattooing a fish is just sick.. the mortallity rate has to be extreme. The saddest part is that they are catering to little kids who want cute little things on their fish.. just wrong.. here's a few pics for ya.

Shrug.. there may be lots of threads like this.. doesn't reduce the need to post them.. education is the best way to stop things like this. And the more people who look up tattoed mollies on the internet that cross this thread the less demand (hopefully) there will be for them. I'd like to point out we have wonderful designs like hearst and such just in time for valentines day. Oh and the pretty polkadots and random lines as well.
 
Seems wrong but thats cool that the fish are still alive....how do they do it.. not saying im guna try but is it a marker? or like real ink
 
i love fish. But I have to say there are much worse things than this going on... like dolphin massacres and dog and cat torture and slaughtering in asia.
I do not condone this practice in the least, nor would i buy one of these fish, but i just see it as being minor compared to some of the things that are going on in the world today. But i still feel for these fish. :irked:

think it depends on if they are doing the whole fish, or just a part of it. I'm sure there are youtube vids of them doing it.

Just let them lose your custom...
 
Yet another tattooed fish. The question you have to ask yourself in this sort of cruel situation is, "What's Next?" I've wondered that many times, and yet, something always manages to come up that surpasses the cruelness of the former. Kinda makes you think about the big picture, and what this world is coming to.
