Tattoo's are about as popular as ever and i'm seeing more and more rather large, "Questionable" tattoos on seemingly normal people. Now, This is not intended to be insulting in any way; quite the contrary, I have a tat myself. But... Some of you may live to regret getting sleeved with bleeding skulls and things like this.
I understand that at the time, getting a tat makes sense but IMO, a little thought about the future may be a good idea before getting that satan tat across your forehead.
For one, and you may not believe this now, you may find it difficult to find a good paying job if you have tats that cannot be easily hidden. You may find that your own kids find them downright scary one day. You may find yourself in a social situation among people you admire and feel embarrassed by thos "Rage against the Machine" lyrics you have inked across your pecs.
I believe the reasons people get tats has not changed; people get them for personal resons that mean a lot to them at the time. However, one day you may wake up at 67 yrs old and see this wrinkled mess in the mirror and think "What the hell was I thinking".
So I am curious what your opinion is regarding tats as many of you are among the younger generation. Me, at 39 yrs old i've seen my friends get Iron Maiden album cover tats, Taz tats and "[blank] Iran" tats.
I wonder if they still hold special meaning, now that they are pushing 40.
