tea cup

im thinking about getting first ray, i have a 90 gallon tank already set up with sand. can someone explain the best beginner ray,i heard about tea cup ,to to their size. But some one told me that they dont live long becouse their premature ,but i heard that was a lie and that tea cup simply means small sting ray,can someone help

theres alot of information in the sticky's on this forum, if thats what nic sent you links to. also alot on other people's threads of conversations trying to decide on getting a ray. good luck to you both, hope you get some rays, they are awesome.

Yes teacup is a term attached to most small brown rays like rectic's, humerosa, yepezi etc... The best beginner ray is the rectic's. The female tend to get a disc no larger than 10" and males 7-8" but have large tails.

mmmmmm not sure about your sizes i would say a bit bigger
