What's the average growth rate of a teacup ray? I'm planning on getting a teacup or two . I'm might grow them in my 90 display tank till I build my plywood tank. I heard some average between 1-5" of growth a year. So I figure a year is plenty of time to make final plans and build my tank.

I also have other larger tanks that I'm haven't decided what to put in yet. a 210 and a 180 both have the same footprint 6'x2' . I know these will probably be a better grow out for a teacup but haven't decided if I was gunna dismantle one and use the glass panels was viewing windows to save some cash.

Just moved my 3 into a 120wide. had them since last march. 90 imo could work for 1 yr. + with males. less for females.

What do you think would be the best ray to start with? I've had and orbignyi. The one I rescued. I would like a motoro or Leo but not on minimum footprint.
