im thinking about getting a ray ,but someone told me that teacups only live for a really short time because they are pre mature baby,s . I dont know if it is true or not but if someone can tell me more about this it will be helpful
 
Teacup ray is a generic term for a tiny juvenile ray. They are usually in very poor condition due to shipping stress and neglect, and die very easily. The most common species of 'teacup' is the P. Reticulata.

Do some research from that info provided with the search function and the sticky's, and you should be able to find a wealth of information.
