Teacup Stingray Questions

Is it normal for my 6'' TCSR to only be active at night?
I'm very new to stingray fishkeeping but not new to fish keeping.
I plan on buyong 240 gallon aquarium so don't try to buck me because he's in a 55.

hey mate, as the others will chime in and may flame.

Teacup does not mean anything. its just a name given by petstores etc.

Chances are its a retic, but post a pic and we can help identify it.

It is normal for newly acquired rays to only be active at night (or not active at all), keep the lights off and let it get settled.
