teacup stingray

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
teacups are usually retic's, 90 would work for a little while but eventually you will need a bigger tank. Retics are usually fragile too, one of the harder to keep rays.

tea cups arnt an actual species, they are just young cheap rays that they dont know what to call them so they label them tea cups, as stated above they are normally reticulated rays, but sometimes they are humerosa, orbingi, peru sp, and many others, all will eventually outgrow your tank, retics will stay on the smaller size and get a max of 14-16" disk but that is without tails, and the other ones normally get at least a 24" disk

tea cups are not that hard to acclimate... just need to make sure you got a good supply of black worms and red wigglers and give the ray some TLC

Not to change the conversation but will discussing tea cup stingray's I wrote an article on them in my blog. Please tell me what you all think of it.
