They look much fluffier when thousands of amps are surging through their body.
 
This video reminds me of a dog I treated that chewed on a live electrical wire. About 4 inches of his bottom lip was disconnected from his mouth but still attached at each end. The lip ended up looking like what happens to skin when a stretched piercing is removed except that the edges of his lip were charred and the hanging section of the lip was totally dead.

Moral of the stories... Don't chew on a hot wire.
