Haven't been active in a while, because i've been working on a new project.

My new setup will be set up in either this week or the next week, as i have finally finished working on the 25 year old 240g tank.
And i must say, it looks good :naughty:

All i will tell you for now is that i will be attempting to display a rarely seen setup, and give it my all to make it work.

A FEW of the inhabitants include some BIG Parachromis species, a wolffish, some veggie eaters, some bellycrawlers and more :)

Will update this thread with pics as i install the newly aquired FX5 amongst other things, and obviously get the tank into place.

Thanks for looking

Update:

Today was the big moving day, and we got it all cleaned up and put on the trailer, ready to go.

We then arrived to my new apartment which is on the 3rd floor, with a very narrow stairway, so we literally had to vertically lift it up the stairs. Took 6 guys and a lot of breaks to get this thing up and into place.

We did finally get it into place, but it been beaten a bit during the lifting up the narrow stairs so i was very nervous whether or not it would hold water.

Well, i have just finished filling it up, and so far NO LEAKS! :)

Will be getting the sand, wood, and the fx5 put in /installed during the next couple of days, and if all goes well, i will have fish in it after this time too :)

Here are a few pics from today

Will keep ya updated as i progress

Very nice tank. I am very anxious to see what you do with it. I'm sure its going to be amazing :) You must have a strong floor to have a tank like that on the 3rd story.
