does anybody know the approximate max bite force of Macrochelys temminckii? I have found mixed results on the internet ranging from 400 to 1600lbs per square inch.... I need it for a research paper. any help is much appreciated.

If you need it for a reserch paper then you either need to get some reputable bibliografy in the form of other papers or your going to have to messure yourself the bite force. For what I remenbar it rivals the bite force of a crocodilian
