I usually don't do this mostly because she is too lazy too a lot of times but I guess she decided to humor me today. Anyway here is my tegu tackling a whole egg. She ate another one before this but she dragged it under my bed to eat it in privacy. I wanted to get some video of her getting into her cage at the end but she decided to poop instead(good girl).

That is one really good looking tegu man and she looks very healthy and happy. I just bought my daughter a baby savannah monitor for her birthday and of course I am helping her take care of him. I already have a custom cage being built for him.
 
Thanks for the comments ans to Kyel good luck with the sav. I hear they have a very similar temperament to tegus so I do not think you will be disappointed. All I can say is spend lots of time with it and you will be rewarded with a mellow animal.

nice lookin tegu.. shes def a fat n happy kinda girl.. great video to! has she ever bitten you? I heard they have a good bite. a friend of mine does a reptile show at our local marine park and they got a new one in from a donation and well lets just say he wasnt as friendly from the get go..but its been a few months and hes really come a long way, loves all the attn and eats it up at the shows now haha
