Tell me a heater that will actually last?

ive used all brands i can think of.
I even kill the 1000w stainless/titanium heaters and ranco controllers.
Nothing have been used over the rated power, never even close.

I cant get anything to heat my 300's 400 or 720 and last more than months.
Not even the 240's or 180s for that matter, nothing lasts.

Could you list brands that have failed you. Everyone on here sights jagers as the best that I know of.

Sorry, my memory doesn't hold everything I want it to even for months, let alone 10 years..

Jagers were always trash, only thing can expect from them are cold water and if your real luck a shock. Close to as bad are
Finnex digital, they average 1-3 months.
I am sure i have not tried everything, whatever dose last i havent used it.

A lot also dose not even have brand names,,,ex a lot of big stainless heaters are just a metal stick and cord, 150$ controllers from Jehmco didn't have a name.

Actually the best controller Ive used was a cheapo no name china one that worked for a couple years till it melted (at only 2/3 rated wattage).

I should say Ranco did last about a year and a half with a 1000w.

Thats the first time ive heard Jagers as being trash.

Maybe in larger tanks they might not hold up but for anything upto 125-150Gal ive always heard great things about Jagers.

What is exaclty happening to the heaters, just stop working???

Perhaps get an electrician in to check out your power outlets.

im going to say its a operater issue at his point. Ive never heard of a titaium heater/controller combo failing. are you running the dry ever?

x2 to this. Some how, some way, u dont know what to do with heaters.

have used stealth heaters on my 400 for the last 3 years with no problems.

I have a back up Ebo Jager that has been through hell and back and it is at least 15 year old and you can not adjust the temp anymore but it will maintain 80 degrees in the 125 gal tank when needed.

I cant understand how anyone thinks they are worth anything but the vale of the scrap copper.
I am trying to add up how many Ive had...for sure over 20maybe over 25.
I believe I have had one last about 6 months. two last 3 months and the rest weeks. I wont take a free one.
Just to confirm Ebo Jager, making sure talking about the same brand.

annway, submersables always stop working or stick on.
controllers usually just die. chepos melt, some transformers go out, finnex controllers go crazy and cook your fish, 4 of the last 5 500watters i bought did, one just quit.
stainless/titaniums stop heating.

trying to remember all the things, i havent been dealing with this stiff in a while
