Tell me about Thorichthys panchovillai.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Closest thing would be T Helleri that Leonard Boyce has in stock. I kept Mixteco Blues and they were fairly docile and calm in my 60 gallon tank. This was in 2003-2004 when Rapps was still doing his thing. Good luck sourcing them. Not too many vendors with a wide array of wild caught or F1 cichlids for sale. Also, all but one state (Baja Sur) have sunken into a lot of violence and all are on various levels of travel advisory’s by the State Department. Don’t know of many folks who are willing to venture into the countryside in many parts of Mexico.
Those names mean absolutely nothing to me.

The GCCA contains members that often go collecting themselves and bring back cichlids not often available in LFSs.
I attended many of their auctions, swap meets, and meetings where I was able to find cichlids not often found anywhere else.
I remember going to an auction, where Paraneetroplus bulleri appeared, and MFK member ¨newworld¨and I were biding on the same bags of this very rare find (think we both ended up with one bag each.
<These P bulleri are found in the same river system in Mexico as T panchvillai>
For me the 200 mile round trip to Chicago was almost always worth it.

Someone took time out their day to try to help you and that’s how you respond? I certainly won’t waste my time with you moving forward…
Except you just said to Google. Obviously I can use Google. If you don't have a response to a question just move on.

And if you want to have attitude with people responding to you (on an open forum) then we will in fact move on.
