Thought I would try this again with a little better quality picture, video. He is the long fish in the video, I know the rest :) I've had this fish for about 2-3 weeks now and he/she is growing very fast of course it's in a 220 to give plenty of room. If someone might have an ideal what it is, please let me know. The fish store I got him from had him in the guarami tank, but he isn't like any i've every seen.

Oh. The elongate-bodied gray fish looks like a Ctenopoma kingsleyae. One of the african climbing perch.

He does look very very close to that, mine might have just a little difference in that his bottom fin is not long like the perch and I can see a more round head and teeth on mine. But, mine might just be a little different in genetics...he is a very nice fish I can say that and growing very fast.

I think it could be him and if so, has anyone had them and what to expect with my current stock in my signature. From what i'm reading he should be fine in there.

A very nice looking synspilum. He should be okay in the tank.

The ctenopoma should be fine...make sure there are no openings in the top of your aquarium, they are notorious jumpers

Thanks, I have a full hood canapy on the 220 that I build myself...so i'm good there.

Just glad he will be ok in the tank with what I have. I'm concerned that he isn't this fish, but I think even if he isn't, he is of this species. He is growing very fast in this 220, probably close to pacu/tinfoil fast.
