the difference is that one comes directly from china, you will find refractometers cheap too.



also most ph monitors sell for less then 100.
 
i think i have that exact same one, yellow black thing. they get inaccurate really quick, but u can recalibrate it.
 
just an update, I did end up buying it and have used it and it is much more accurate than any of the litmus paper strips or the dropper tests. Though it needs to be calibrated almost every time you use it, it's not that hard since I know what the pH of the water that comes out of the faucet now and I just use that to quickly calibrate it and then use it. I do recommend this product to anyone who is on a budget, though it did take 15 days to get to my house from China, which is a little bit lengthier than my usual shipments from Hong Kong.
 
sry didn't respond to ur question earlier.... but i guess u now know wat i said is true.... it works... just gotta calibrate it
