Tem max size?

Alot of folks talk of 30"+ Tems but has anyone got one on here anywhere near that size, or do they max out at a smaller size in captivity?

LFS has some coming in tomorrow and Im thinking of picking one up

I think 20 - 24" is gonna be more like it mate an this will take yrs. You thinking of getting some? Ive already ordered 4 lol

I would say yes they take a lil while but I have one that's 13 months and over 18" they just may make the 30"+ size

Was a bit shy at first mate but is now swimming round with the other 2 and feeding well. The problem is that it has made me realise I need more Cichla 3 just aint enough.

here is the sample of 30+ tem. it was taken in june 2010. i will take a new pic of my tems. they really grow especially if you give they space.
