So i had three tems and sold 2. kept my best looking one. Then got 2 orinos at a time and now I have 6 all roughly the same size between 4-5". I was housing my tem in the 240 but recently took him to my dads 110gallon for a month while I try and fatten the Orinos up in the 240. the orinos were in a 30 gallon eating shrimp constantly until yesterday i moved them to the 240 where their markings have enhanced tremendously. heres some pics. :D

thanks guys.... yea the O's are lovin' it hopefully i can bulk them up fast so I can bring my tem back. hes never been aggro but i dont want to risk it.

Nice collection, but in three months or so, that insane looking Tem, is going to make those Orino's look like Guppies.............Orino's are one of the Best looking Species, when you can purchase them over 10+ inches, but in my opinion, they grow to damn slowwwwwwwwwwwww.

tems do rule. I have the orinos and tem on different diets in different tanks so Hopefully they can catch up just enough to were they wont be swallowed. :grinno:

So you want to grow orinos fast ehhhh? Do huge water changes often, temperature around mid 80s and mix diet a lot. They grow slower but have the coolest and most diverse coloration changes I have seen on a bass. Maybe matched by a brokopondo. Patience, its definately worth it.

Finally, tanks are like muscle cars; theres no replacement for displacement, big tank big fish.
