does it take long for them to grow out? Considering getting some for a community tank like yours. truly inspirational.

They were less than 2" last April and I don't feed every day, so they could be bigger than the 13" they are right now. Check out my thread on their development.

What kind of aro? It's an asian Red Tail Gold.
