i have four temensis and 2 monos all around 12inches long. all of them suddenly got this white covering over thier eyes. does anyone know what this is? i think its a fungal infection. does anyone know what i can use to cure this? does anyone know if they will be blind. email ahmedaevans@aol.com me or call 2036503541 or im me thanx

Cloudy eye is usually a result of poor water quality, how big is your tank? Check your params,.

should do atleast a 50% wc a week w/ cichla depending on your stock.....sometimes more.

What is the tank size...filtration, how often do you do wc's? What do you feed...? Spit out all the info and some...

I did get lazy in changing the water. I did a 50 % water change. I will do another one in a couple of days . Will they be blind when it clears up? I hope not.

Are they clouded in both eyes or just one?..The damage might or might not be irreversable at this point.
